The Legion of Doom is from the animated series not a comic?
According to various websites I’ve visited, The Legion of Doom was created on the Superfriends animated TV show. I always thought they were based off an earlier comic book.
Nope. They’re similar to various villain groups that preceded them like the Injustice League or the Secret Society of Super-Villains, but the term “Legion of Doom,” along with that particular lineup and the funky Darth Vader helmet base were created for Superfriends.
